A visionary project poised to redefine urban living in Melbourne’s Docklands area has been unveiled by developer Tim Gurner, showcasing a futuristic vision of wellness and rejuvenation. The $1.7 billion Elysium Fields development, a collaboration between Gurner Group and City Harbour consortium, promises to revolutionize the precinct into a sanctuary for health-conscious individuals.
Spanning a sprawling 2.7-hectare site along Harbour Esplanade, the project envisions a harmonious blend of residential, commercial, and recreational spaces. Boasting 1,700 dwellings, including build-to-rent and build-to-sell apartments, the development also features a retail and hospitality hub, along with two upscale hotels equipped with cutting-edge conference facilities.

Designed by Fraser & Partners, the Elysium Fields development embraces a futuristic aesthetic, encapsulated in a “self-contained biosphere-like design” aimed at fostering tranquility and inspiration. The project reflects Gurner’s personal wellness journey, offering state-of-the-art health and anti-ageing amenities to residents.
Central to the development’s ethos is the integration of advanced wellness facilities, including cryotherapy, infrared saunas, and medical-grade treatments available at the Elysian Reverse Ageing Medical Clinic. Gurner’s Saint Haven club will further enhance the lifestyle offerings, complemented by the expansive Haven Ancient Baths.
The masterplan prioritizes pedestrian-friendly spaces, featuring a “path of life” with amenities such as yoga studios, meditation areas, and rooftop sports courts. Additionally, the precinct will boast botanical gardens and a vibrant retail scene, promising a 24/7 interactive experience.
With approvals for the project secured, Gurner aims to enhance public spaces and pedestrian access, underscoring a commitment to community well-being. The first stage of construction, comprising three towers and 640 apartments, is slated to commence soon, marking the beginning of Docklands’ transformation into a premium wellness destination.
As the project awaits approval from the Victorian Government, Gurner expresses confidence in reinvigorating Docklands as a thriving urban hub, where luxury living seamlessly intersects with holistic wellness and environmental sustainability.
