FAQ

Common Questions About Buyer Readiness

What is a Buyer Readiness score?

It measures how well your website answers the questions buyers in your industry need answered before they enquire — what you do, whether they can trust you, what it costs and how it works, how easy it is to get in touch, and whether the site itself is fast, secure and mobile-friendly. It is scored out of 100 across six areas.

How is this different from a website health or SEO grader?

Health and SEO graders mostly check technical things like speed and tags. Buyer Readiness covers those basics too (security, mobile, speed, indexing, schema), but most of the score is about persuasion: whether a real buyer finds the proof, information and next step they need. A fast, well-optimised site can still lose buyers if it hides pricing, has no reviews or makes enquiring hard.

Which pages do you check?

Your homepage, plus the key buyer pages it links to — such as services, pricing, case studies, reviews, about, FAQ and contact. Every finding in your report shows the page and the exact text we found, so you can verify it.

Why does my industry matter?

Buyers in different industries look for different things. A homeowner wants to see "licensed & insured" and your service areas; a patient wants online booking and health fund information; a software buyer wants a free trial and integrations. Choosing your industry adds five checks specific to your buyers.

Why might something I have not be detected?

We read your public pages as they are delivered to a browser. Content that only appears after JavaScript runs, sits behind a login, or lives on pages not linked from your homepage may not be seen. If a check looks wrong, that is often a sign buyers may also struggle to find it.

Is it free?

Yes. Your score, category breakdown and top fixes are free and instant. The full report with every check and the evidence we found is also free — we just ask where to email it.
